We bought these barstools for a breakfast bar. The brushed nickel finish nicely matches stainless steel kitchen appliances. For a non-handy guy like myslf, they were very easy to asemble. The one negative I have is there are no pads on the bottom of each leg, so I am concerned about scratches on hardwood and vinyl floors. We applied a pad to the bottom of each leg.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Nice looking stools. Comfortable too. They rock a bit, but guess that will settle out with time. Only real con is they are painted. I had assumed they had a natural metal finish.

I bought 2 of these bar stools to use in my kitchen along with a pub height table that I purchased on this site also. I am very happy with these stools because they are very comfortable and sturdy. I added felt pads to the bottom of the legs so they wouldn't scratch my flooring.

This stool was easy to assemble. The most difficult part about the entire process was taking the stool parts out of the protective wrapping. The stool wobbled initially, however, I put felt pads on the legs and now it is steady and protects my flooring.
